SFG Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Code 14 truck driver to join our team. As a professional driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks with trailers safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating Code 14 trucks with utmost care and adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures.
  • Loading and unloading cargo at designated delivery points while ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Following assigned routes efficiently and considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues and report them promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork including delivery receipts, logbooks, and other required documentation.

Requirements:

  • A valid Code 14 driver's license as a mandatory requirement.
  • A Public Driver's Permit (PDP) is necessary for professional driving within South Africa.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience driving large trucks, with a minimum of 5 years abnormal / super link experience.
  • A clean driving history with minimal traffic violations.
  • The ability to handle the physical demands of loading, unloading, and prolonged driving periods.
