We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting and Analytics Lead to join our Transformation & Technology Team at Wilson Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in data structures, enhancing reporting capabilities, and delivering actionable insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing a single platform and standardised data structure across the firm.
  • Ensuring data is stored, structured, and managed in a way that supports business and client needs.
  • Managing data permissions, ensuring the right people see the information they are permitted to absorb.

We are looking for someone with:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data modelling.
  • Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data visualisation, and performance optimisation.
  • Experience working with SQL or other query languages for data extraction and transformation.
  • Familiarity with APIs and data integrations to connect different systems and sources.
  • Knowledge of data governance best practices, data cleansing, and data security principles.

Business & Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective data models and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience working with financial and operational data is an advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, working effectively across different teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset – comfortable working in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
