About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic PMO Advisor to join our team at Rio Tinto Global Procurement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting several business units in the RTP Africa region, developing expertise in various work processes and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and improve transactional activities, including creation, reviews, amendments, and compliance.
  • Conduct business process reviews, engage with stakeholders, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide systems guidance and support, including system utilization efficiencies and cost optimization.
  • Combine business process and system reviews, engage with stakeholders, and develop business requirement documentation.
  • Take accountability for own performance and understand the impacts of behaviors and actions on others.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Commerce, IT, or Engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of Supply Chain, Contract Management, and Contract Management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across all spectrums of the operations.
  • Proficient in English; French language proficiency is advantageous.
  • Computer literate in MS Word, PowerBi, Projects, and Excel.
  • SAP and Ariba experience is highly advantageous.
