About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to take on new challenges and responsibilities, working closely with contractors and ensuring design approval of suspended slabs, generating bending schedules, and managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead structural design and detailing teams to deliver high-quality designs
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Conduct site monitoring and quality control to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering design
  • Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete design and its applications
  • Experience working with commercial and residential structures
  • Proficiency in Prokon, AutoCAD, and Revit (a plus)
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around R550,000-R700,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional benefits including a comprehensive health insurance package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
