We are seeking a skilled PrTechnician to join our team at Assegai. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to work on national roads' projects, utilizing their expertise in program preparation, monitoring, and tracking progress.

The ideal candidate will have ECSA registration as a PrTechnician, a B.Tech/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, and minimum 6 years of experience working on national roads' projects. They should be proficient in preparing programs, including monitoring, updating, and tracking progress, and fully au fait with the COLTO and COTO Standard Specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Conditional Surveys or Assessments of the roads, prepare reports for such, including scoping, prioritization, and costing reports.
  • Making designs where necessary to respond to conditional assessments.
  • Assisting with the procurement of contractors for construction work.
  • Administering, supervising, monitoring, and managing works by contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ECSA registration as a PrTechnician
  • B.Tech/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years' experience working on national roads' projects
