Join Set Consulting as a Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Accountant to join our finance team at Set Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new suppliers, processing supplier invoices, and maintaining the creditors ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Onboarding: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new suppliers.
  • Processing Supplier Invoices: Accurately record and process supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  • Creditors Ledger Management: Maintain and manage the creditors ledger to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Weekly Payment Runs: Produce and manage weekly payment runs to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Cash Book Management: Handle inbound and outbound payments to ensure accurate and efficient cash flow management.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Expense Claim Management: Oversee the management of expense claims to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Out-of-Pocket (OOP) Schedules: Manage OOP schedules and advise the Financial Controller on recoverable amounts.
  • Procurement PO Management: Manage procurement purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Supplier SLA Contracts: Record and manage supplier SLA contract terms and renewals to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • BEE Preferential Procurement: Proactively manage and record BEE preferential procurement to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Debtors Book Management: Oversee and manage the debtors' book to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Customer Onboarding: Assist with customer onboarding requirements to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Junior Accountant with a relevant degree/diploma and a stable track record of experience in accounting and finance.
