Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership to catering managers and their team of catering staff.
  • Evaluate the company's image and ensure it is projected through excellent client relationships, quality of service, product, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the operations director to develop medium and long-term strategies to grow the business.
  • Maintain compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Manage all financial aspects of the business – budgeting, forecasting.
  • Implement company standards, policies, and procedures in line with legislation.
  • Work in a stressful environment and perform well under pressure.
  • Evaluate Quality Control against The Company standards.
  • Oversee Cash Management (control of debtors, stock checks, and cash checks etc).
  • Achieve profit growth in all areas of responsibility.
  • Meet deadlines for submission of forecasts, profit, and loss's etc.
  • Manage Human Resources, including I.R., training, and development, and performance management.
  • Maintain and improve operational standards as agreed.
  • Evaluate quality and star grading standards within the areas of responsibility.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Matric.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Hospitality.
  • Microsoft Office with strong focus on Excel.
  • 5 - 8 years Management experience.
  • Previous healthcare experience is essential.
  • Driver's License and own vehicle essential.
