Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Bookkeeping Coordinator to join our team at Affinity International. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing essential financial processes, including bookkeeping, month-end close, cash flow management, and accounts payable supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Handle the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely completion.
  3. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  4. Prepare and manage weekly cash flow reports to monitor financial health and make informed business decisions.
  5. Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely and correct payments, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Customer Support & Operations:

  1. Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account statements, providing prompt and courteous responses.
  2. Work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve financial issues, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  3. Assist with operational processes related to finance and bookkeeping, continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting, preferably in a corporate or outsourcing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close, cash flow management, and AP supervision, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and financial tools, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
