E-Merge is a market leader in compliant call recording solutions, and beyond. Capturing every interaction with an analytics platform that extracts, processes, and delivers insights from millions of data points across diverse communication channels. The company is looking for an additional Data Engineer to take their offering to new heights.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for tasks such as data engineering, code development, ETL (Extract Transform Load) workflows, data warehousing, and cloud engineering on a day-to-day basis. Big data engineering skills are required to create and optimize efficient pipelines that process tens of millions of rows of data.

Some tangible use cases include Large Language Models, topic detection, and other NLP toolkits. The Data Engineer will design, architect, and implement cloud infrastructure to manage big data workflows and enable intuitive analytics.

In addition, the candidate should establish a DevOps environment, learning about efficient deployment and code management practices. A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is required.

The Data Engineer should have experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines, data warehousing, and data analytics skills. Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages is necessary. Familiarity with Azure is a plus.

This role offers a competitive salary range of R800k - R1mil CTC, negotiable based on experience. It is a remote position that offers flexibility and work-life balance.
