Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Instrumentation Expert to join our team at Code Red Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Instrumentation System Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the reliability of instrumentation systems.
  2. Design and Development: Create complex drawings and programming codes for instrumentation systems.
  3. Maintenance and Repair: Provide expert guidance and advice on complex installation, fault finding, repair, and calibration procedures.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant regulations and codes.
  5. Equipment Evaluation: Assess the performance of instrumentation equipment and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams of technicians and engineers to achieve project objectives.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Communication: Communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Matric.
  2. DCS Experience: Experience on DCS Systems (Siemens PCS7 advantageous).
  3. Trade Test: Trade tested N6/T3/S4 Instruments (light current).
  4. Post-Qualification Experience: 2-5 years post qualification mechanical and technical experience in instrumentation systems.
  5. Computer Literacy: Must be proficient in Computer Literacy.
  6. Overtime: Must be willing to work overtime.
  7. Code B License: Must be in possession of a valid Code B License.
  8. Transport: Must have own transport for standby duties.
  9. Culture Attributes: Demonstrates the importance of safety, quality, and teamwork; effectively leads and communicates because our people matter.
