**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager/Group Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our automotive dealership and provide strategic guidance to ensure the financial health of the group.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, analyzing financial data and providing insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, dealership policies, and accounting standards, assisting with external audits and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Expense Management: Track dealership expenses, including operational and capital expenditures, reviewing and approving expense reports and ensuring adherence to dealership policies.

**Requirements:**

  • Accounting degree or equivalent
  • Chartered Accountant (SA) designation or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry as an Accountant or Financial Manager
  • Experience with Evolve, Automate, Kerridge, or Autoline
  • Clear criminal and credit records
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Dynamic, quick-thinking, confident, innovative, and hardworking
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of Autoline is essential
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
