About This Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organized and detail-oriented Key Accounts Administrator Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our commercial lines support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless processing of commercial business quotations, client information management, and policy document preparation.

This is an ideal position for someone with a strong background in short-term insurance who desires to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process commercial business quotations accurately and efficiently based on adviser input.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, including company details, registration numbers, and contact information.
  • Prepare comprehensive quotation files, including application forms, comparison quotes, and required FAIS documents, to ensure smooth processing.
  • Activate accepted quotations with chosen product providers and facilitate efficient communication between teams.
  • Organize and distribute welcome packs containing necessary policy documents to clients.
  • Manage and update records in myPractice, including uploading relevant documents.
  • Process underwriting requests promptly and communicate updates to advisers and providers.
  • Coordinate renewal processes, including preparing renewal packs, negotiating terms, and updating policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial underwriting team once the first debit order is confirmed.
  • Maintain high standards of process adherence and seek assistance when needed.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within the short-term insurance industry.
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills, as well as proficiency in at least one other official South African language.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
  • NQF Level 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification or currently studying towards completion.
  • FSCA confirmation (DOFA) and successful completion of the RE 5 Examination.
