Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at the University of Fort Hare. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing warehouse activities to meet the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management and storage.
  • Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to meet business requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and shipping/receiving activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve operational issues.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A matric certificate or equivalent.
  • A completed tertiary degree or diploma in logistics or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment within an FMCG concern.
  • Strong knowledge of Sage Evolution (advantageous).
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
