Main Responsibilities:
- Implement Financial Accounting Policies and Procedures.
- Develop and maintain financial control systems.
- Manage provincial assets effectively.
- Procure goods and services through Supply Chain Management.
- Process provincial payments efficiently.
Requirements:
- Matured with Matric (NQF level 4) and a Diploma (NQF Level 5) in Accounting.
Essential Skills:
- 3 – 4 years work experience in Financial Accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of GRAP, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, King III Report, Corporate Governance System, and other related Legislation.
- Comprehensive understanding of account processing, cash flow control, and payment principles.
- Advanced MS Office (Excel).
- Familiarity with financial accounting and payment systems.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Able to communicate effectively and engage stakeholders.
