The Mendocino Companies are seeking an experienced Botany Expert to join our Forestry team. The successful candidate will conduct rare plant surveys, mitigation monitoring, and habitat analyses in support of timber harvest and timberland management projects.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute ecological surveys, monitoring, and data analysis as per project requirements.
• Compile and analyze data, generating comprehensive reports and recommendations.
• Present survey findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
• Collaborate with technical staff to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute to the development of annual work plans and budget forecasts.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company standards.
• Work safely in challenging environments, adhering to company safety policies.
