Smith Garb & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Audit and Tax Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance in all African subsidiary countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure tax compliance in all African subsidiary countries through timely submission of statutory taxes, including PAYE, Social Taxes, VAT, WHT, Provisional Tax, and Annual CIT.
  • Collaborate with local tax advisors to stay up-to-date on tax laws and requirements in all countries.
  • Work with local tax advisors to resolve tax audits and queries from local tax authorities.
  • Prepare annual audit packs for all countries in conjunction with the Financial Manager and CFO.
  • Ensure compliance in all accounting matters to prevent tax or audit issues.
  • Submit to auditors and resolve all audit queries to bring audits to conclusion and sign off by directors.
Requirements:
  • Fluent Afrikaans and English language skills.
  • Own car and valid driver's license.
  • Keen to develop and grow professionally.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual.
