Job Description

**Role Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Specialist to join our team at Fidelity Services Group. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to and managing fire-related incidents, as well as participating in fire prevention and training activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Respond to fires, rescues, and other emergency incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and apparatus, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Participate in fire prevention and training activities, including training drills and simulation exercises.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement fire safety strategies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

**Requirements:**

  • Grade 12 as a minimum school qualification.
  • IFSAC Accredited NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 certification.
  • At least 2-3 years of related experience in firefighting or a related field.
  • Valid code C1 driver's license with PRDP.
  • EMT certification and First Aid levels 1-3.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
