We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our industrialisation and localisation programme, ensuring Siemens Energy compliance with South African industrialisation and local content policies and regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing industrialisation and local content strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and tracking and reporting on compliance and progress.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Developing and implementing an industrialisation and local content strategy to ensure Siemens Energy compliance and achievement of contractual obligations
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments and industry partners
  • Tracking and reporting on compliance and progress, including budget control and accountability
  • Leveraging synergies across BBBEE and NIPP policy requirements to deliver high impact co-benefits for SE and RSA
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for industrialisation and local content in the African and Middle East regions

Skills Requirements

The successful candidate will have:



  • Extensive knowledge of the energy industry, including localisation and industrialisation policy and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong project management and analytical skills, with experience in tracking and reporting on compliance and progress
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and research skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in managing localisation and local content portfolios in a large energy sector multinational
