Moulding Craftsman

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Moulding Craftsman to join our manufacturing team. As a key member, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining high-quality molds used in shaping various materials, such as plastics and metals.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct and maintain molds for manufacturing processes, ensuring precision and quality control.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program in mold making or a related field is preferred;
  • Proven experience as a Mold Maker or similar role in a manufacturing setting;
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints;

In addition, strong technical skills, effective communication skills, organizational skills, proficiency with operating machining tools, basic computer aptitude, and physical endurance are essential.

Estimated Salary Range:

R120 000 - R180 000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
