Job Title: Senior Port Construction Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Port Construction Manager to join our team at Progressive International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and commissioning of our port facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all activities are completed within financial constraints.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee the construction process to ensure it adheres to approved designs and quality standards.
  • Commissioning: Manage the commissioning process, ensuring all systems and structures are operational and meet safety and performance criteria.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the port once it is commissioned.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of the project.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all construction and operational activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 10 years' experience in managing mining port construction projects, road construction, and port operations.
  • Certifications: Certificates in port management to ensure handling complex demands of port construction and operations.
  • Language Skills: Full proficiency in English.
