Tax Accountant Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at Latitude Resource.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date tax portfolios in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Providing research support on complex tax opinions required by clients or the audit department
  • Calculating tax liabilities for individual taxpayers, including provisional tax estimates
  • Preparing and submitting all necessary tax returns in a timely manner
  • Registering entities and individuals with the South African Revenue Service (SARS)
  • Offering expert advice to clients on tax-related queries
  • Handling tax disputes and appeals with professionalism
Requirements
  • A degree in Finance or a related field from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Professional registration with a relevant accounting body
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax consulting

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 per month, dependent on skills and experience.
