About the Position

The IT Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, hardware systems, and storage solutions to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Architecture:
    • Design and develop network architecture including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
    • Configure and manage network devices to ensure stable and secure connectivity.
  2. System Administration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.
    • Diagnose and repair hardware issues promptly.
  3. Data Management:
    • Implement and manage storage solutions, including SAN and NAS systems.
    • Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
  4. Security Protocols:
    • Monitor network security and implement measures to protect against threats.
    • Manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security devices.
  5. Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and hardware issues.
    • Assist in training staff on hardware and network usage.
  6. Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, hardware setups, and storage systems.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in network engineering, hardware management, and storage solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar.
