The Intercare Group Corporate Services department invites applications for a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at our hospitals and practices in the Gauteng area.

This role involves delivering exceptional customer service by performing various building maintenance tasks, repairs, and preservation activities. You will also be responsible for coordinating special projects related to maintenance and ensuring the overall appearance and functionality of Intercare branches.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of general building maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Maintain hospital facilities, clinical infrastructure, gases, and assets.
  • Complete maintenance requests as assigned.
  • Execute the preventative maintenance plan in conjunction with the line manager.
  • Coordinate special projects as directed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (Grade 12 / Technical qualification)
  • Experience in medical equipment and facility maintenance (advantageous)
  • Driver's license Code 10 and PrDP (advantageous)
  • Own transport
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
