We are looking for a highly motivated Facilities Management Assistant to join our team at Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist tenants and visitors at the front desk, creating a welcoming atmosphere and setting the tone for a great experience.
  • Collect payments and update records on our property management system, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate proactively with tenants regarding lease expirations, renewals, and payments, building trust and rapport.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and work collaboratively with our facilities team to resolve issues efficiently, minimizing disruptions.
  • Perform daily floor checks of common areas and prepare rooms for move-ins/move-outs, upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and provide regular reports to our head office, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Grade 12 qualification or equivalent as a minimum educational requirement.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to efficiently manage tasks and communications.
  • Bilingualism is essential, with fluency in English and at least one African language to effectively interact with our diverse tenant base.
  • Present yourself in a professional, well-groomed manner, reflecting our company's values and standards.
  • Develop strong written and verbal communication skills to excel in this role.
