Storekeeper Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Storeman to join our team at Everestpackgroup.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the packaging industry and be knowledgeable in inventory management and control.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inventory Management: Organise general layout of parts to minimise the effort of selecting parts required.
• Stock Control: Ensure that stock records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Warehouse Operations: Maintain a well-organised store, ensuring that stock is properly stored and secured.
• Communication: Maintain effective communications with the maintenance planner to ensure that the parts are procured on time.

Qualifications:

• N4 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Similar Qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance stores environment
• Inventory Management/Stores and Stock Control Certificate (Advantageous)
• Matric Certificate
• Forklift License
• Knowledgeable in Health and Safety Principles
• Good Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to Work Well in a Team
• Ability to Operate Under Pressure

We require the successful candidate to have a strong background in inventory management and control.

A valid forklift license and knowledge of health and safety principles are also essential.
