About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in driving business change and improvement initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing business needs, developing technical specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop logical and technical specifications from functional requirements for application environments.
  • Assist in designing new systems and major changes to existing systems in consultation with the Enterprise Architect.
  • Conduct systems analyses, design, system testing, security assessments, performance assessments, and user interface evaluations.
  • Investigate, analyze, and document business functions and processes, and the information they use across applications.
  • Determine timely and effective solutions to business functions and processes.
  • Serve as a bridge between the business and IT development teams.
  • Evaluate and document underlying business architecture, conduct feasibility studies, business cases, risk assessments, prototypes, write proposals, create functional requirements for new applications, and major changes to existing applications made possible by information and communication technology.
  • Coordinate testing efforts and document implementation plans.

Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • IIBA or Business Analysis diploma required.
  • 8-10 years' experience as a Business and/or Systems Analyst, preferably in Asset Management and/or financial services.
  • Agile training and experience.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed development teams, including local and offshore resources.
  • Proven experience in multiple project disciplines, e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including process and data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively using an agile approach.
  • Self-motivation and energy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong documentation and specification skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures.
