About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Ad Hoc - 5357673. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Fuel Station in Sunninghill.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and Motivate Staff: Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a demanding environment, providing operational support and guidance where needed.
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency: Manage fuel stock levels, facilitate ordering and receiving of fuel, maintain and improve Forecourt processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prevent Fraud and Theft: Conduct regular audits and investigations to deter and eliminate fraud/theft, managing occurrences and liaising with HR as required.
  • Maintain Facilities: Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly checklists for facility maintenance and preventative maintenance, recording warranties and guarantees for equipment.

Achieve Business Targets: Conduct reviews, report cost plans to senior management, and direct teams to meet objectives.

Requirements

Grade 12/Senior Certificate qualification, 2-3 years of Fuel Station Management experience, excellent Excel and Word skills, and working knowledge of reporting fuel sales, fuel stock management, and ordering.

Competencies: Proactive, leadership, decision-making, reporting, planning, and adapting to change.
