About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology to join our team at Assegai Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records of test results and procedures.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Staying up-to-date with latest developments in laboratory medicine.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma: Biomedical Technology / Bachelor of Health Science: National Laboratory Science / NQF level 6 or 7
Registration with the HPCSA as Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology
Desirable Skills:
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Broad knowledge of basic laboratory techniques.
- Previous experience in a laboratory or medical setting.
- Comfortable using medical technologies and laboratory equipment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
