Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in an accounting position with a focus on treasury, procurement, and general ledger functions.

  • Experience with financial statement creation and month-end/year end close process.
  • Prior treasury experience is essential for this role.

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring complete and accurate recording of all accounting transactions and analysing financial statements.

The successful applicant will be skilled in:

  • General ledger management and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Fundamental knowledge of IAS/IFRS guidelines.
  • Derivatives handling and risk management.
  • Skillful analysis and reporting.
  • Accurate documentation and record-keeping.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the correct accounting representation of business transactions in the general ledger while maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.
  2. Processing of closing entries and items as to completeness and accuracy.
  3. Preparation of statistical reports from the field of financial accounting.
  4. Support the valuation of asset movements.
  5. Collaboration with staff from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
