Heineken Beverages (South Africa) is committed to excellence in the production of high-quality beverages. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Artisan to join our team in Stellenbosch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, utilities, and facilities. This will involve adhering to all safety procedures and policies, ensuring machines are maintained to best practice standards, and identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

• Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and equipment inspections.
• Repairing and replacing damaged or malfunctioning equipment, as needed.
• Identifying and reporting any safety hazards or potential issues to management.
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum N3 qualification as a trade-tested millwright, along with at least 3 years of experience working as an artisan in a cellar and utilities environment. You should also possess good knowledge of electrical reticulation in a plant environment, as well as the ability to perform welding activities and milling and turning tasks.

In addition, you should be self-motivated, innovative, and able to work without supervision. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are also essential for success in this role.
