Job Title: Safety Security and Risk Manager

Our Client is a mixed-use property developer in Cape Town, seeking a skilled Safety, Security and Risk expert to lead the development of strategies and plans to mitigate risks and threats. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the precinct, its occupants, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, communicate, and implement the Emergency Response Plan to ensure compliance with related legislation and policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and goals.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Safety and Security Division, including crime prevention, traffic management, and emergency response.
  • Develop and implement security-related strategies, including CCTV surveillance, license plate recognition, and facial recognition systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, law enforcement, and emergency services.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of risk management, emergency preparedness, and compliance.
  • PSIRA registration and a relevant security qualification in management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff and interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
