Diesel Mechanic Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to provide expert technical and diagnostic support within the service department, ensuring that colleagues receive guidance on best practices for repairs and improvements as per customer requirements.

• To perform repairs and diagnostic work in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to instructions and guidelines.
• To provide technical advice and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• To ensure the correct use of diagnostic equipment for vehicle examinations, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and precision.
• To implement strategies to maintain servicing of trucks within the targeted percentages of the manufacturers' time, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
• To guarantee that trucks are returned to customers in a neat and clean condition, reflecting the Morgan Motor Group's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• To identify the most cost-effective and accurate remedy to faults or customer complaints, ensuring that diagnosis leads to optimal solutions.
• To accurately complete job cards and additional information on trucks before handing them over to the Service Advisor, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

• Diesel Mechanic Trade Certification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a diesel technician in a dealership/workshop environment
• Valid Driver's License – Code 14
• Experience with UD and Volvo Trucks would be beneficial
• Medically fit to work on trucks
• Clear criminal record
