Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for pharmaceuticals to lead our Pharma product portfolio in Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health sciences, marketing expertise, and excellent analytical skills.

  • Leading the development of marketing plans and budgets;
  • Maintaining customer relationships and analysing market data;
  • Executing promotional activities and controlling expenses;

Responsibilities:

Marketing Management:

  • Managing key opinion leaders and maintaining their relationships;
  • Liaising with the Responsible Pharmacist regarding product complaints;

Administrative Duties:

  • Preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets;
  • Compiling reports on market-related issues and sales;

Scientific Training:

  • Providing training to the sales force on new products;
  • Conducting basic training for newly appointed employees;

Qualifications:

  • Degree in health sciences - necessary; business studies or marketing qualifications beneficial;

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 - 5 years' experience in sales within a related field;
  • 3 - 5 years' experience as a product/brand manager in a related field;
