Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team at Pygio. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients unlock valuable insights from their vast amounts of data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced data mining techniques and statistical analysis to build high-quality machine learning models that drive business growth and success.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex challenges into actionable data science solutions.
  • Design and develop internal data science tooling platforms that enable efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Create predictive and prescriptive machine learning models that inform strategic decision-making and drive competitive advantage.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development within the organization by mentoring junior team members and contributing to the creation of a data science community.
  • Participate in the development of new and existing projects, leveraging expertise in machine learning and data analysis to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in machine learning methods and principles, with a strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience working with popular libraries like scikit-learn and PyTorch.
  • Experience with Big Data platforms, including Hadoop and Spark, and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to take complex problems and break them down into manageable components.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
