Job Title: Senior Broker Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Broker Assistant to join our team at KMCK Talent Sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture and take minutes of meetings from Financial Advisors interaction with clients
  • Capture, process, and follow up on applications
  • Ensure compliance documentation and Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) accompany all new business and/or client servicing
  • Check that the Record of Advice (ROA) and FNA mirror one another and further that the Compliance is completed correctly
  • Ensure all Compliance documentation is loaded for the Internal Compliance Officer as well that all FNAs are attached to system on a daily basis
  • Keep records and ensure documentation is completed as required by the FAIS Act, FICA Act, and relevant legislation
  • Obtain Client Authorities for preparing portfolios as well as uploading quotations prior to Financial Advisor/s meeting with the client
  • Ensure all portfolios are prepared one week prior to the Advisor/s meeting with the clients
  • Check the diaries and appointments for quality control prior to Advisor/s meeting with the client
  • In-house servicing Upgrades and downgrades
  • Ensure new business is processed timeously and that any outstanding quotations are followed up on Pipe and new business must be followed up daily
  • Deal with queries, difficult clients, and complex queries that may be received by the Advisor/s and the Financial Planning Practice
  • Strive to assist your broker/s in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Contact clients for beneficiary changes/Wills/arrear premiums/replacements/broker changes/lapses/cancellations
  • Liaise with broker consultants and Insurance Companies
  • Sending out communication and liaising with clients to keep them updated
  • Follow up on leads and campaigns
  • Check the database for possible new business
  • Contact clients for counter-offer letters and declines
  • Must attend all training sessions and ensure employee is ready for required FICA assessment
  • Check all user groups are linked Directors, Shareholders, Trusts, Trustees, Employer/Employees etc
  • Changes to Buy & Sells & ensuring they are updated annually
Requirements:
  • Grade 12/Matric
  • FAIS accreditation
  • 120 insurance credits preferable
  • Minimum 4 years industry experience (Long term insurance)
  • Sound knowledge of long term insurance
  • RE 1 - RE 5 preferable
  • Experience on CRM systems would be highly beneficial
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook - advanced Excel
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent telephonic skills
  • Eloquent and well-spoken
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Dynamic
  • Proactive
  • Own vehicle
Package:

R12k to R14k p/m depending on experience and qualifications + commission + incentives, group life insurance, medical hospital cover.
