About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Person to join our team at Brights Hardware. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales, and controlling stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers in selecting the right products
  2. Generate sales and ensure customer satisfaction
  3. Manage stock levels and perform regular stock counts
  4. Advise customers on products that meet their needs
  5. Order stock from suppliers as necessary
  6. Perform administrative tasks, including customer record keeping and invoicing
  7. Ensure proper merchandising and pricing of products
  8. Participate in regular stock takes
  9. Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  10. Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or equivalent qualification
  2. 3 years of sales experience in the electrical department
  3. 3 years of experience in a similar role in a hardware environment
  4. 5 basic technical supplier competency certificates
  5. Customer Service Training
  6. Demonstrate effective sales techniques
  7. Intermediate product knowledge
  8. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
