Job Description:The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and programming, with a passion for probability, statistics, and combinatorics. Key responsibilities include math analysis & testing, developing programs to calculate key mathematical features of games, manipulating and reorganizing large data files into formats ready for testing, conducting and interpreting statistical tests on game simulations and RNG data, analyzing jurisdictional requirements and adapting testing methods accordingly, documentation & review, writing and modifying programs to meet specific testing needs, reviewing, understanding, and documenting source code written in various programming languages, preparing comprehensive project reports summarizing test results and findings, reviewing analysis work from colleagues to ensure accuracy and quality, communicating professionally with clients on technical matters, and collaborating effectively with team members in the Math Department and beyond.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), have a strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and combinatorics, proficiency in a modern object-oriented programming language, such as C++, solid understanding of core programming concepts and techniques, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, exceptional attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
