We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team at WSP Global Inc. This role involves providing consulting engineering services for the design, implementation, and close-out of Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
This position requires proficiency in HVAC design and commissioning systems, air conditioning heat load and ventilation calculations, and excellent understanding of South African National Standards (SANS). The ideal candidate will have experience related to HVAC mechanical design on Data Centre projects and working knowledge of Revit and BIM360.
Key Responsibilities- Design and commission HVAC systems in accordance with local and international standards.
- Develop and implement air conditioning heat load and ventilation calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with SANS standards.
- Provide technical support for HVAC modeling software and BIM tools.
- Manage project stages from inception through to close-out.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years post-graduation working experience.
- Experience related to HVAC mechanical design on Data Centre projects.
- Working knowledge of Revit and BIM360.
