We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teacher Trainer to join our team at EF Education First. As a key member of our training team, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of high-quality training programs for our teachers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver training programs for both full-time and freelance teachers, focusing on the implementation, instruction, and practical application of LMS training materials.
- Onboard new trainees into the training process, ensuring a smooth and effective transition.
- Schedule and host training and support sessions for new and experienced teachers, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their teaching skills.
- Update training materials and training flows as per business needs, ensuring alignment with international standards.
- Liaise with local and global teams to tailor training programs to meet the needs of our diverse teacher population.
- Equip teachers with practical tools and resources for teaching various elements of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Assess teacher progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Develop and maintain teaching resources, such as infographics, videos, and handbooks, to support teacher training and development.
- Provide online support to teachers facing technical challenges, ensuring seamless access to training resources.
- Conduct mentorship sessions to support the progress of new teachers, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Liaise with teachers and staff on matters related to training, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Track and record teacher progress on Talent LMS and internal records, providing valuable insights for training program evaluation and improvement.
- Teach online classes as per centre quality guidelines and expectations, demonstrating expertise and best practices in online teaching.
- Proven track record of meeting teaching KPIs and delivering high-quality training programs.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or NQF Level 7 equivalent, with a strong background in training and development, education, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant working experience in the EFL field, with a proven ability to apply teaching knowledge and experience to drive business growth and development.
- Strong administrative and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven creative mindset and openness to change, with a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Flexible, responsible, and committed to working collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals.
- Adherence to principles of the POPI Act and general confidentiality, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and data.
