We are seeking an experienced Process Operator in Comminution to join our team at SGS West Rand District Municipality.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in minerals processing comminution. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and conducting comminution test-work independently, carrying out associated sample preparation test-work and mineral processing test-work, and adhering to all quality and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, with the ability to operate mineral processing equipment safely and efficiently. They must also be able to interpret and calculate comminution data and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and conduct comminution test-work independently
  • Carry out associated sample preparation test-work and mineral processing test-work
  • Adhere to all quality and safety requirements

Qualifications:

  • Senior certificate (Matric)
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in minerals processing comminution
