We are seeking a highly skilled Support Engineer to join our team at Datacentrix East London. As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing cloud infrastructure, datacenter software, and end-user computing support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with escalations from 2nd line support engineers
  • Provide 3rd line datacentre software support
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including patch management
  • Remediate issues identified by audit and monthly reporting
  • Work with a range of technologies, including cloud services, virtualization, application delivery controllers, operating systems, and monitoring tools
Critical Requirements:
  • Matric or Grade 12 qualification
  • One of the following certifications: MCSE, VCP, CCE
  • Tertiary IT qualification
  • At least 10+ years' experience supporting datacenter software
  • Good understanding of server environments
