Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Banker to join our team at Investec. As an Internal Banker, you will play a critical role in facilitating and administering high-volume and high-value credit transactions, working closely with Mortgage Origination Bankers and other internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Facilitation: Facilitate deals for high-volume and high-value credit transactions, including vanilla transactions, residential properties, commercial properties, secured loans, unsecured loans, and non-vanilla type deals.
• Client Administration: Manage client data on radar and CRM, support Mortgage Bankers with client needs and administration, draft documentation for clients, and manage systems (Finance, Card400, Lotus, Frontline, CRM, etc.).
• Risk Management: Identify basic risk issues, demonstrate in-depth understanding of documentation required, proactively adapt to changes in Risk Management, and stay abreast of system and process changes (workflow).
• Business Development: Identify opportunities to fully bank clients and cross-sell product offerings, look for opportunities for clients across Investec Group, enable and connect clients to different opportunities within the group, and deliver service towards achieving targets and budgets.
• Communication and Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and Mortgage Originators, provide education and support to clients regarding products, processes, and system changes, and manage client and MO expectations and provide feedback accordingly.
