We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at The-Recruiter.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, as prescribed in the Health & Safety Act. This includes reporting to management regarding any unsafe working conditions and facilitating risk assessment and behavior observation processes.
In addition, the Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for monitoring corrective action processes, providing feedback to management, receiving and collating data from inspections, and facilitating incident investigation processes.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- NOSA certification
- SAMTRAC training
- First Aid Level 2 qualification
- The COSSH Risk Assessor Certificate
- Fire Fighter 2 & Hazmart Operation Course
- Working at Heights: safety in the assembly and use of Scaffolds qualification
This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per annum, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in health and safety.
