Job Description

As a key member of the Job Crystal team, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing operations in Gauteng. Your primary goal will be to optimize efficiency, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing Objectives and Strategies — Establishing short, medium, and long-term objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Continuous optimization of efficiency, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining and improving quality standards.
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
  • Design and enhance processes in support of continuous improvement programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline/industry.
  • Business Administration Qualification (MDP/MAP/PDM).
  • Diploma/Degree in Operations and Quality Management.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience working in the Manufacturing Industry.
