Job Title: Automation Specialist

At Epiroc, we are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to environment, health, and safety programs and requirements
  • Support clients on all machines as per the service contract
  • Conduct regular audits on equipment
  • Generate parts and service sales
  • Follow-up on audits and orders
  • Conduct operator and maintenance training when required
  • Keep records and report breakdowns, call-outs, spares usage, etc. for all equipment in your area of responsibility
  • Assist the Maintenance Planner in compiling reports and feedback to the maintenance planning system
  • Machine pre-delivery service
  • Commissioning of equipment
  • Troubleshooting
  • Quotes to clients when required
  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • After-hours standby as and when required
  • Proper housekeeping
  • Ensure compliance with customer procedures and safety
Requirements:
  • Strong technical background
  • Qualified as an artisan with experience on drill rigs
  • Good technical background
  • Knowledge of Epiroc machines
  • Computer literate
  • Customer relations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work shifts
  • Interpersonal skills to work with clients, customers, and suppliers
