We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Accountant to join our team at Network Finance. As a Senior Technical Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of technical standards (IFRS17) across our group companies.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to lead the finance IFRS17 workstream meetings and drive participation and manage deadlines.
Responsibilities- Provide technical accounting support to group companies.
- Drive the implementation of technical standards (IFRS17).
- Design and develop IFRS 17 finance reports including management accounts.
- Facilitate the audit process.
- Enable subsidiaries to identify new controls, reconciliations, and other validations that need to be embedded into new IFRS 17 systems and processes.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as and when needed.
- Customize the Group as well as subsidiaries' financial statements.
- CA(SA) accreditation.
- 2 to 3 years post articles experience.
- IFRS 17 experience.
- Proven IFRS 17 implementation experience.
- Experience in financial services.
An annual salary of R600 000 - R750 000.
