Job Description:

At IT Ridge Technologies, we are seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to lead our web and mobile development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing front-end and back-end web architectures, maintaining and supporting existing web and mobile applications, and participating in the design and development of new systems throughout the entire project lifecycle.

You will be working closely with our technical team to establish priorities and successfully manage deliverables, while also collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful use of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of web developers, providing guidance on technical issues and ensuring adherence to prescribed quality standards during all phases of the SDLC.
  • Design and develop front-end and back-end web architectures, including maintenance and support of existing web and mobile applications.
  • Participate in the design and development of new systems throughout the entire project lifecycle, including development of new production software and monitoring progress against agreed-upon timelines.
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments or stakeholders to remove any issues and keep on track with delivery commitments.
  • Manage the planning process to derive delivery timelines and effectively communicate a detailed understanding of the business' expectations to the team and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for empowering development team members to work across traditional organisational boundaries and promoting team collaboration and innovation.
  • Create a collective of shared knowledge and expertise and common identity through teamwork and experience sharing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (Ideally an Honours Degree).
  • Certifications in Web technologies (HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript / AJAX, Responsive design) and Mobile technologies (IOS, Android), React Native.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Web stack (MVC, C#, VB.net, razor, IIS, ASP.net, WCF/Web services, Web API, SOAP, REST, XML).
  • Experience in Microsoft.Net Frameworks and Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SQL server reporting services.
  • Experience in Data Architecture and Database System Design.
  • Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience in DevSecOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 -10 years of relevant experience as a web and mobile development team leader.
  • Leading and working in an Agile Development environment.
  • Solid project management and analysis skills.
  • Team and customer service oriented.
  • Using leadership to influence other areas.
  • Write and maintain documentation, instruction, and procedure guides.
  • Work with customer(s) to correct errors and debug software and systems.
  • Strong knowledge/Experience of: Natural, NATURALOne, Natural Engineer, Entire/X, Webmethods or Integration Server, Adabas, Online & batch processing, JIRA, GIT and Microsoft TFS are helpful.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
