We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to lead our retail sales team in South Africa. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our customer base and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development and Execution: Work closely with Area Managers to develop and execute branch strategies that align with our provincial goals. Translate high-level strategies into actionable plans, specifying targets, objectives, and metrics.
- Retail Branch Sales Delivery: Develop and implement tactics to attract new customers and drive sales growth. Represent the branch at industry events and establish awareness through community platforms.
- Sales and Operational Effectiveness: Communicate branch strategies and sales targets to consultants. Identify key result areas and work with consultants to develop collective targets. Monitor activities and sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Service Culture and Compliance: Align processes and procedures to ensure a smooth client experience. Develop and monitor client service delivery standards, managing daily achievements and adherence to SLAs.
- People Management and Development: Collaborate with Human Resources to establish good people practices and manage operational people practices. Manage the accreditation and continuous professional growth of staff.
- Reporting and Analysis: Responsible for monthly reporting of sales and service activities. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and plan for future months.
