Diving Team Coach

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the diving teams, planning activities, and promoting the sport.

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills and passion to take on this position. The role requires up to 25-30 hours per week, including attendance at meets and competitions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will plan and lead the activities of the Girls' Prep and Girls' College diving teams, including daily training, tours, camps, internal marketing, long-term planning, and budgeting.
  • Ongoing general administrative tasks as required for the effective running of the sport.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years coaching experience at an advanced level.
  • Previous personal diving experience is essential.
  • A high level of personal diving or coaching experience in a school setting is required.
  • A professional degree in Phys Ed, Sports Science, or Sports Administration would be highly beneficial.
  • Proof of sexual offender's clearance certificate.
  • A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos, and mission of the College, as well as participate in the broader life of the school.
