Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy to align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the development of annual manufacturing operational plans and ensure their successful implementation.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the manufacturing function and teams, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Manage the implementation of new equipment, technology, and processes to support business growth and competitiveness.
  • Oversee production planning, scheduling, and control to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including quality management systems and environmental, health, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and analyze production statistics and data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and financial ratios.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in process engineering and maintenance management.
  • Excellent technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed business decisions.
